Billback clients demand a robust system that provides rich features, a user friendly environment, and optimum flexibility for interfacing with other accounting and document management systems. As a result, Billback is built on the open source SQL coding. Programming allows easy (often automatic) driver and software update installs for the main Billback server and the Advantage terminals.

The system’s network print controller is a fully compliant MSI wrapped application compatible with Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP, WTS as well as Citrix. Network printing control can be configured for active mode operation for specific applications for which the firm wishes to charge printing. These applications typically include MS Word, Excel® and Outlook®, and Adobe Acrobat, among others.

Many Billback processes – such as reports, email exception notifications, data imports, and transaction uploads – can be set up to run as scheduled events. Billback flexible report generation tools deliver usage and management reports that can be displayed graphically or numerically and support a variety of common data output formats including Crystal Reports, HTML, spreadsheet, CSV and PDF for display, printing or email distribution.
